Before & After: Cranberry Township, PA Kitchen Remodel

Master Kitchen Before & After

Leaning more towards the modern side of the transitional style, we added a darker gray painted finish on the islands to contrast with the creamy white perimeter cabinets. We used warmer tones on the floor, which was installed throughout the entire first floor and all new furnishings to add a cozier feel. Making the space more modern we used shaker style cabinet doors with squared off hardware.

To give the space a bit more pop we added matte black metal finishes throughout.

In order to make the space more unique and functional to their needs, we eliminated the wall between the kitchen and dining room and added two islands. A larger island with seating for entertaining and the smaller island for prepping meals. Replacing where the refrigerator, built-in pantry and desk used to be, we put in a bar area, designed a larger pantry with roll-out shelves and charging station for the families electronics.
